Gluten Free Bread November 11, 2009 Shirley A. Payne (Kiel WI) After trying many products, the Papa's Loaf is a product, that in my opinion, comes closest to regular bread. I find though, that with any of the GF breads, toasting improves the product. This bread is really quite good.
Great for sandwiches! July 2, 2009 Mr. Scott Grover (san diego ca) This is a sturdy wheat-free bread for sandwiches. The taste may be a slightly cardboard-ish, but I like it's fiber. And if you create a sandwich where the other ingreadients have nice flavor, the bread itself becomes a healthy companion. This is one wheat-free bread on which you can pile on the ingredients and not worry about it falling apart. Enjoy!
Daughter loves this bread! December 30, 2008 M. Roberts (Charlotte, NC) I am surprised to see such negative reviews for this product. My daughter now 19, has been on a gluten free diet since she was 11. We've tried many GF breads over the years and this one is her favorite. She does toast it before eating, but it tastes good (I've eaten it, too) and stays together great.
Wheat-free, Gluten-free Bread September 16, 2008 J. Lane (where the Navy sends us) Good option for a WF/GF diet, but texture is dry, so it crumbles easily. My son prefers to eat it toasted, which helps make the texture more like regular bread containing wheat.
